This 17th century building is located in the heart of the riverside of the city of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The intervention took into consideration the "roots" of the building, the original facade was respected and maintained, thus perpetuating its identity. However, it was imperative to rebuild the foundations and structures that were totally degraded. Its interior was also renovated and, today, gives life to The Arc Carrís Hotel Apartments. In short, it constitutes a perfect fusion between the authenticity of the Manueline style, and the modern, urban and sophisticated.
