The Palácio da Igreja Velha, located in Vermoim, has just been declared a Property of Municipal Interest. The classification, approved yesterday at a City Council meeting by the Municipal Executive, includes the Palácio da Igreja Velha, the Chapel of S. Francisco de Assis and the Cruzeiro do Palácio da Igreja Velha, with the surrounding area being set as a Special Protection Zone.
