The new Trofa Town Hall building, in the district of Porto, was awarded the Architecture MasterPrize in New York.
According to the promoter of the award, the rehabilitation and extension of the former Trofense Food Industry factory resulted in a sober building with a minimum of material and colour.
The rehabilitation was done by the NOARQ architecture office and the construction by the company Telhabel Construções SA.
