Due to the urgent need to replace the existing bridge over the River Keve, a new bridge was built to connect the city of Sumbe to the municipality of Porto Amboim.

As it is a river with a considerable flow, diversions were made from the water course to allow the foundations to be built. With 200 meters of length, the bridge is made up of a deck of 10 frames of prefabricated reinforced concrete of 20 meters each.
