In this endeavor we tried to preserve as much as possible the identity of the existing building, respecting it as a mark of a certain architectural period and symbol of the institution itself. The intervention consisted in the rehabilitation and expansion of the four volumes of older construction, with the restructuring of some spaces, maintaining the valences and improving the capacity making them better adapted to the functions they perform The two-storey building sees its main strengths improved and is now much better suited to serve the more than 50 Senior Home users, with new living rooms, dining room, laundry room and new fully equipped rooms. Other improvements were the home support service and the social canteen.
